Those long road trips in the family maxi van to our summer vacation – usually a beach house at Myrtle Beach, Panama City or even (gasp) Alligator Point must have started something in me. The thought of packing a bag and taking off in the car gives me a feeling of freedom, adventure and a break from the routine. Makes total sense that I started working in hotels, and eventually got a job doing task force work for a hotel management company. My assignments are mostly Midwest, but you never know. Join me – some blogs will be about past trips, some present and maybe some are future trips I am planning. But it will be honest, fun and hopefully a way for those back home to understand my desire to explore.
